Job Description Position Summary :
The Lead Performance Test Engineer will be responsible for leading a team who understand requirements, create performance test scenarios, design work load model, test scripts, prepare test data, develop & execute load and stress test, monitor and analyze test result, reporting defects and reporting results to stakeholders.
The candidate should be an excellent leader and people manager.

Good knowledge of Performance testing concepts
Hands-on experience in designing a workload model
Understand and analyze performance test requirements.
Defines approach and methodology for performance testing.
Hands-on experience in JMeter.
Hands-on experience in Beanshell scripting.
Knowledge of application architecture.
Hands on experience in any Performance Monitoring tool.
Create and report performance test progress and defects.
Maintains performance script repository.
Able to create and maintain Performance Dashboards
Experience in Database monitoring and analysis.
Work towards more efficient ways of testing using the best tools / methodologies.
Works within, and encourages a Devops culture and Continuous Delivery process.
Works within agile cross-functional product teams.
Manage & deliver the release(s) to production with acceptable quality standards
Identify & mitigate any risks around Stability of the product and share these with stakeholders
Should have working knowledge of SQL queries to check the database
Develop and execute functional tests, performance tests, stress tests, and regression tests.
Assist with developing, implementing and documenting testing methodologies
Required skills and experience :
Experience as a Performance Team lead or Senior with team lead responsibilities.
Keen interest in technology and computing.
Energetic and motivated starter, with an enthusiastic can do’ attitude.
Demonstrable experience in solving complex problems.
Superb attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communicator.
Experience in creating workload model from scratch.
The ability to define and iterate a Performance test approach.
Ability to create and contribute to a Performance testing strategy
JMeter (Expert Level)
Beanshell or Groovy scripting (essential)
SQL server knowledge (basic)
Understanding on Performance Testing Concepts (essential)
Capable of technical deep-dives into code and architecture (basic)
Strong problem-solving skills (essential)
Project management and issue tracking tool experience : Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA, MS Office package (essential)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality written documentation.
A proactive individual who will take responsibility to act and think laterally to rapidly solve
problems and recommend improvements.
Being analytical and willing to problem solve.
Excellent attention to detail
Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent organisation, multitasking, and prioritization skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Should be able to think out of the box
Intellectual curiosity, passion for technology and keeping up with new trends
B.E. / B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant professional experience
Any testing certification is a plus.
We offer a hybrid way of working in our Gurgaon office, and you will need to be in the office 2 / 3 days a week and you can also work from home 2 / 3 days a week - dependent on when you confirm with your lead when it is best to come in based on delivery.
