About the Job
The Avaya Cloud Solution Support Architect role is a senior level support architecture role.The successful candidate will help deploy, integrate, and maintain the solutions required to transform premise based Avaya Aura solutions to hosted solutions.
The Cloud Solution Support Architect partners with internal teams to provide technical leadership in the transformation of traditional UC and CC technology to UCaaS and CCaaS.
The architect will provide judicious, technical leadership, ensuring that all cloud solutions and architecture comply to industry best-practices for scalability, usability, performance, security, and serviceability.
This role also designs, deploys and oversees the implementation and integration of Avaya Aura UC and CC systems for cloud-based infrastructure and has responsibility for relationship management with internal teams responsible for IaaS platform vendors.
The CSSA will work with existing teams to ensure proper lifecycle management of applications hosted on the cloud solutions can be attained.
The Architect will also help drive the requirements for integrations of Avaya enterprise solutions with virtualization platforms and methods from IaaS providers.
Integration of these platforms with a customer self-service web portal, managed services platforms, reporting infrastructures, along with existing business processes are key deliverables of the Solution Support Architect role.
The role will also provide top tier solution support in escalations in customer production.This will include managing the technical progression of complex issues as they traverse multiple layers of the stack.
