Key Responsibilities

Responsible for Testing Strategy, Design, Implementation, Automation and Roll out for projects.

Use knowledge and experience in Automation best practices, processes, frameworks, tools, and automation to improve the overall quality of applications and increase velocity and confidence in software delivery.

Responsible to develop and deliver automation roadmap to drive transformation of client quality and testing organization

Provide support for developing automation strategy for client specific testing requirements, architecting appropriate automation frameworks and applying automated tools to support application testing

Leverage that broad charter to define the strategy and provide technical leadership across the full suite of enterprise applications.

Identify Testing Design gaps and opportunities through initiative based assessments, validate corrective measures and appropriate automation opportunities and tools

Support in managing relationship with key stakeholders like Architecture, PPM etc including any required external engagements and commitments

Represent Testing Practice in various forums

Maintain a repository of best practices, guidelines, templates associated herein

Support in Regional oversight of practice wide objectives

Responsible for cascading practice objectives to all resources aligned to the practice (including those in GB / GFs and Central Practice Team) in line with HR Guidelines

Accountable for recruitment of regional practice support roles, in line with HR and Technology guidelines

Responsible for regional input into the job family framework and capability definitions for practice resources (with HR COE Learning & Talent)

Responsible for regional input into the Practice talent management framework and adoption to support talent development in line with current and future labour requirements (with HR including COE Learning & Talent)

Responsible for regional input into the learning framework including association with accredited bodies

Accountable for regional input into career development, talent management and succession decisions for central practice team

Accountable for regional input into the selection and adoption of tools to support delivery and definition of methods framework

Responsible for contributing regional requirements into the definition of standards and controls

Key Requirements

7-10 years of overall experience with exposure to corporate IT in both agile and waterfall environments, IT Service Delivery and Process Re-

engineering under DevOps

Delivery experience with focus on testing, testing strategy & methodologies and awareness of market leading testing tools, techniques & methodologies

Has experience working in a complex mesh of services with enterprise-grade requirements

Strong Programme Management capabilities

Experienced in Business Stakeholder Management

Has solid understanding of Agile (Scrum), CI / CD, Jenkins, Git, Jira

Understanding of key DevOps tools and their integration with appropriate automation

Sound knowledge of controls across project lifecycle

Drive to improve and enhance existing strategies, processes, tools and techniques

Ability to work directly with business stakeholders, understanding needs and articulating ideas

Ability to work with stakeholders and vendor partners.

Strong mentor and coach

Good presentation and technical writing skills

Knowledge of gathering KPI measurements and reporting

Interpersonal skills, including the ability to articulate the case for investments and alternatives in the language of business

Strong background in people management and development in a change environment
