Understand the existing automation environment and build on top of it for the additional test automation requirements
Understand test requirements and design the efficient, effective and reliable automated test suites
Review automation suites for the code compliance as well as requirement coverage
Verify the automated suites and maintain them for the execution across releases and platforms
Build in-depth knowledge of product architecture and develop ability to root-cause issues
Develop test cases beyond what is described in manual test cases
Automation of functional, robustness and solution tests
Verify developed suites, organize code review, review team members' code
Support design team in debugging the issues
Test Planning, Test Execution, Reporting of results and defects
Collaboration with stakeholders
Work closely with software design team, peers in team locally and across the sites
Interact with Management to provide test status and highlight the issues on right time
Interact with Architects to understand the requirements and product behavior

Deep understanding of Ethernet and exposure to IP packet forwarding and L2 / L3 switching
