The Team Marketing Technology (aka MarTech) :
MarTech team is responsible for the technology & experiences driving PayPal marketing activities touching millions of customers worldwide.
Team is on a transformational journey to consolidate disparate tools onto a common marketing platform that can automatically drive intelligent decisions about the next best action for any given customer based on how they interact with PayPal products & services.

Job Description, T-Profile :
This role will sit across three domains.
Agile Tools Building workflow based technology which removes bottlenecks and enables the flow of work across the global marketing function at PayPal.
Geo Setting up and deploying MarTech within different Geo’s. The focus in 2021 will be leading efforts in setting up MarTech stack in China.
Convergence Driving the convergence of MarTech across PayPal and its brands, enabling a consistent end to end customer experience.
Depth Type : Deep
Extensive product management experience in Digital Marketing domain.
Experience in leading SaaS implementation efforts (DM hub, JingDigital etc)
Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practitioner.
Agile mindset and knowledge of Dev Ops, CI-CD tools & process is a must.
Breadth Type : Narrow
Good knowledge of data ingress / egress patterns, security & regional compliance considerations for data movement & storage.

Clear articulation gets the team aligned, gives team clarity with a groomed backlog and Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF) prioritization becomes a walk in the park.
You treat your team members as customers and thus get immersed in their work to understand the pain points and come up with enablement features for the team.
You know a magical experience for your team members is the only way to get a magical experience for our customers. You enable the team to constantly make the right decisions using customer-centric measures.

You have made and delivered a measurement framework comprised of Leading and Lagging indicators aligned with strategy. This measurement framework ensure team are delivering value.
Teams love this transparent framework for decision making it’s invaluable. You organize planning events and keep the backlog groomed for just enough roadmap runway and manage queue length like a pro.

Education & Experience required :
Innovation, Design or Product management degree with some Computer engineering education / certifications / experience.
Multiple year experience in delivering engineering focused products in Agile and Lean environment.
Essential experience in managing multiple small / medium workstreams in parallel.
Digital marketing experiences a big plus
