Responsibilities : + Constantly push towards making Windows guests highly reliable, performant and secure on AHV. + Ensure virtio drivers for paravirt network and storage for windows over AHV offer superlative performance and security hardening.
Use knowledge of Windows kernel to debug performance issues unearthed owing to AHV hypervisor architecture, and work across the stack to fix it.
Develop Windows user-mode and kernel-mode (C and C++) tooling to unearth and catch performance issues in product development cycles.
Participate in specification, design, implementation, evangelism and support of the product, as well as improve existing features and product performance.
Requirements : + Strong knowledge of C, C++ Knowledge of driver development using WDK. + Strong in Inter Process Communication(IPC) concepts, viz semaphores, shared memory, sockets etc + Experience in Security, Network & performance analysis in Windows.
Good knowledge of windows kernel debugging tools viz. windbg. Should have strong troubleshooting skills. + Experience handling WHQL / HLK certification and generic PCI programming.
Experience in writing windows installers is an added bonus. Qualifications and Experience : + Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree, or equivalent with 5 + years of experience in system software design and / or development on Windows + A solid understanding of Windows internals and experience with kernel development is highly desired.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating system architecture, memory management mechanism, synchronization and file systems.
Working knowledge of virtualization technologies including hypervisors, and virtual machines. + Team player, with the willingness to work with globally distributed teams.
