Responsibilities Architect to deploy and manage a scalable hosted service in AWS, Azure or Google cloud. Work with teams to build and architect continuous integration and delivery model to quickly push changes into the service.
Build and architect secured hosting service. Address security threats like DDOS attack, takeover of the compute and network etc.
Build a SLA model and design the fleet and monitoring capabilities to meet the SLA. Build automation using python, Terra and Ansible to build a scalable infrastructure in GCP and AWS cloud.
Be on high alert to monitor the hosted service which enables our customer to route their network traffic swiftly and efficiently.
Drive and determine the metrics that needs to be monitored to proactively identify issues in the fleet. Work closely with engineering during the design phase to ensure planning of the proper deployment model are taken into consideration.
Negotiate with teams and make appropriate adjustments for deployments at scale. Think about security all the time and you will be responsible for deploying all security measures by deploying a robust secured infrastructure.
Continuously monitor security design of the infrastructure and the deployment architecture of the product and look for possible attacks from new threats.
Make the infrastructure ready for SOCs compliance. Follow the change management and incident management procedures to deploy securely in the SAAS environment.
Service our internal and external customers meeting the defined SLA. Requirement 4 + years in the devops space or managing a saas / hosted service Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (4+ Years experience) in computers.
Hands on python or other scripting experience to transform a manual hand crafted work into end to end automation. Experience managing & deploying fleet with any of the leading configuration management tools like Ansible, chef etc.
Worked closely with the development team in designing the product for deploying a service at scale. Managed 200+ servers on a day to day basis using automation.
Been supporting SAAS environment and was in a pager rotation. Monitored a SAAS environment and was part of the monitoring building platform.
Strong Linux skills with hands-on experience troubleshooting issues Recent experience working with infosec team and understand the security requirements required in SAAS environment.
Experienced in AWS and GCP environments. Strong GCP expertise is a plus. Code repository best practices; Git, Github, Git Flow or other workflows, etc.
Experience with Docker, Jenkins / Hudson, Maven, Ant, Sonar, Puppet, Chocolatey, etc. Hand-on experience with .Net and other scripting language such as Python, Ruby, etc.
