This is a Regional Sales Leader role majorly looking for southern India and shall be responsible for driving sales in Sabre Travel Network India with a hunter team across several key cities within southern India The role is responsible for building and executing on sales strategy to improve marketshare and top line performance through valuebased selling It encompasses the key sales processes like creating pipeline monitoring pipeline velocity and driving wins and conversions while ensuring all sales tools are fully utilized and sales productivity is optimized It is an important people leader role responsible for the hiring nurturing mentoring and retaining talent in a very competitive marketplace Job Requirements Key requirements 8 Years of experience as Regional Sales Manager majorly responsible for the southern IndiaUnderstanding of GDS Global Distribution System and Airline distributionNegotiating skills and commercial acumenSolution orientated quick in understanding the flow of business of prospective customersStrong leadership qualitiesGood sales track record and consistent sales accomplishments particularly in winning strategic clientsMust have experience in front line sales and know retail wholesale and corporate agentsMust be numeric with strong analytical skillsResults and process orientedGood people manager ability to drive performance employee engagement and team goalsConfident and able to carry himself herself professionally in dealing with senior executives of the tradeUnderstands the airline business vis vis the GDS role valueMust be well networked particularly in the aviation industryProven track record on project management and documentationGood written and oral communication skillsConversant with CRM tools analytical tools like SalesForce and CliqviewWork with Marketing to develop and execute Corporate Sales initiativesParticipate in trade shows conferences and community events to help promote the corporate program Develop build and manage existing and new clients Work with the Marketing Dept to develop and execute Corporate Sales initiativesTeam handling Able to develop client engagement build strategic partnerships and onboard new clients
