Team and Role Overview
We are seeking a Financial Software Technical Analyst, Support to provide Applications Support to our clients. This is a tremendous opportunity to break into the financial services industry and / or continue to advance business, product, and technical skills.
This role has many elements in which business analysis skills are also required. There will be considerable travel required globally at various times.
The Customer Delivery team is tasked with providing expert delivery resources across support, project management, consultancy, and implementation to all our clients across the globe.

You will work directly with the customer to scope, gather, review, create, and implement their technical needs
You will work closely with Calypso Project Management to set and manage customer expectations around project timelines, you will also be responsible to manage / communicating issues between customers and Calypso internal project team
Assist developers in understanding the API required to extend or add data to the Calypso systems, and to build interfaces between Calypso and external systems
You would be performing System installation, including Java JRE download and installation, relational database installation, data model installation and upgrade scripts, setup, and configuration of an event-driven framework, the configuration of real-time market data feed
You will work with our system and its users to test the implementation, achieve signoff (UAT), and continue to move the system towards go-live
Skills And Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in system or technical analysis, system design within Capital Markets
Hands-on experience in Commercial software including Java, JBoss, C++, Swing, JDBC, RMI, J2EE, Linux / Unix, Sybase, Postgres, XML, Ant / Maven / Gradle, SQL & Oracle
Strong experience in GUI and server-side development & deployment
Bachelor’s / Master’s in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or IT
Excellent communication skills
