This is a high profile role for technical operations candidates to join a Cloud Operations within a major software house.

The right candidate will be a member of the growing Cloud Ops team with key responsibilities in service engagement with our clients.

The ideal candidate must be conversant with Managing Windows and server Administrations and procedures around the management of a secure data network, the physical servers and environments will not be at our site and will be physically managed by third parties, we are responsible for managing some of the infrastructure components as well as all of our applications running at the those sites.

We are looking for bright, articulate candidates with strong drive and capability to learn and expand their current knowledge.

Working as a team covering up to 24x7 hours the candidates must exhibit a high degree of professionalism including the ability to escalate when needed, a desire to provide high customer satisfaction and be reliable.

The range of equipment and applications to be managed will also be expanding. Much of the expansion will be on Windows and Azure based platforms.

Responsibilities : Daily operations activities including Incident & Problem management, backups, environmental alert management and software rollout.

Planning and Implementation of Changes to the Environment and the Applications.Acting as a primary point of contact into Openlink for named Openlink client contactsHands-on technical support within the Managed Service team Required skills, experience and Qualifications :

  • B.E. / Computer Science / Master of Computer Applications with up to 3 years' experience
  • Windows Server 2008, 2012 & 2016 Administration & deployment skills
  • AWS knowledge would be an added benefit
  • Active Directory Administration skills
  • Strong Citrix & windows troubleshooting skills.
  • Azure working knowledge
  • Scripting Knowledge would be an added advantage
  • Should have good knowledge of SSL certificates and Cyphers.
  • Knowledge of working in database environments using SQL server would also be an added benefit
  • IIS 6.0 / 7.0
  • Terminal server & RDS RemoteApp knowledge
  • Basic networking & Virtualization knowledge related to windows and Citrix .
  • Shift hours of work (24 / 7 operation support)
  • Willingness to learn Linux technology would be added advantage.
  • Excellent Email writing and verbal communication.
  • Hardworking & dedicated.
  • Strong desire to provide excellent customer service to client
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done.
