Responsibilities / Tasks

Work with AutoCAD Plant 3D customization and administration.

Develop P&IDs in AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Contribute to modularization of P&IDs using AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Work with Plant 3D Data manager and report creation.

Develop 3D catalogues and work with spec editor.

Experience with piping isometrics in Plant 3D.

Work with BIM 360 collaboration tool to follow the life cycle of P&IDs.

Experience / explore with Autodesk Vault or any other PLM tool.

Establishing best practices, user guides for Plant 3D end users.

Creation of end user training material in the form of PowerPoint Presentation or Professional Videos.

Work with the Autodesk Inventor and Plant 3D collaboration activities.

Work with SharePoint platform for document management.

Conduct user training for AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Provide Plant 3D hypercare support to end users.

Continually search for new ways to meet or exceeded expectation to create value to stakeholder.

Proposes value addition solution and in constant seek out diverse thinking to maximize use of stakeholder’s experience, background, and perspective.

Co-ordination with other team members to understand assigned work and plan for delivery

Complete projects on time with right quality

Collaborate and co-ordinate with internal global colleagues.

We are looking for an Autodesk Plant 3D Specialist to support our OneEngineering team. It’s about aligning harmonization strategies with the overall objectives of the company.

AutoCAD Plant 3D Specialist to participate in GEA’s global OneEngineering project

Do you want to participate in our global OneEngineering project and be a part of the team implementing a common, cloud-based, global platform for plant design used at 40 GEA sites across the world?

OneGEA OneEngineering

The OneEngineering project was established in 2017 as part of the global strategic initiative, which was launched after the OneGEA organisational change programme.

Through OneEngineering, we aim to streamline engineering tools and core business processes, promoting best practice and facilitating increased knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Targeting GEA’s entire global operations, the programme is technical as well as transformational and will impact a big part of GEA's approximately 18,000 employees around the world.

Join the OneEngineering project team in Vadodara

You will be based in Vadodara, where GEA has one of its larger global engineering center with about 180 employees supporting global projects.

Here, you will join the OneEngineering team where 5 other colleagues will help you to establish the Indian contribution to the OneEngineering team.

The position is initially a coordination and development role as part of a larger team tasked with rolling out a plant design solution to a global GEA user base, which entails interfacing with internal business partners, third parties and other global team members.

A certain amount of travel will be required. After the development and deployment of the plant design solution the position turns into a local super user who would be part of a global super user group maintaining and continuing to develop the software as per the business requirements and in alignment with the IT colleagues.

The role requires expert level of knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D including 3D, isometric, P&ID and associated data.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in process plant design software in a process-engineering environment.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical or equivalent engineering

Experienced with AutoCAD Plant 3D customization and administration.

Professional experience & expert level knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D including 3D, isometric, P&ID and associated data.

Explains and demonstrates concepts and advanced technologies in an understandable way.

Professional experience & Knowledge of 3D Plant Design using P&IDs, P&ID design guidelines, Process lines & Reference Designation System.

Knowledge of various international standards.

Willing to travel to a small scale to Europe.

Fast learner, systematic, analytical, and curious on software and usability.

Takes on tough challenges with sense of ownership. Approach - work individually and with teams with optimism and solution-oriented Agile mindset.

Self-driven, learn continuously, extract learning from experience, share and help team

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Must have Good English skill Verbal and written

Comfortable to work in a multicultural environment

Bonus qualifications

Experience with other Plant software

Experience with Python scripts or any other programming language.

Knowledge of Auxalia tool or any other data manager tool

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server for Plant 3D.

Knowledge of additional foreign languages
