Job Description
Work as part of a team to ensure the delivery of the products and services within the Productivity Applications, with an emphasis on the Email, Calendaring, Meetings and Voice components Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Service.
Providing product ownership as a subject matter expert for products in the portfolio of services provided by the Productivity Applications Team, with an emphasis on the Email, Calendaring, Meetings and Voices components of the Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Service.
Providing product ownership as a subject matter expert for products in the portfolio of services provided by the Productivity Applications Team, outside of the Microsoft suite.
To take ownership of selected products and services within the Productivity Applications Team portfolio and develop long-term strategies for those products and services.
To take ownership of selected products and services within the Productivity Applications Team portfolio and develop short-term enhancement opportunities for those products and services.
Proactively seek out information from the Microsoft Community to ensure that we are aware of the roadmap for the Microsoft 365 service / Office 365 Service.
Ensure compliance with Mott MacDonald standards, policies, and regulations. To work effectively with the Change Manager to ensure change does not happen outside of the Change Control process.
Candidate Specification
Essential :
In-depth experience of working in an IT Service Desk or Applications team
Broad knowledge of Productivity Applications, especially the Office 365 components, including some of but not limited to :
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft SharePoint Online
Microsoft Exchange Online
Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise (formerly Office 365 ProPlus)
Microsoft 365 Included Products
Experience of IT service management processes
Desirable :
Good experience in an IT Applications Security and Compliance team as part of a multinational organisation
Membership of the Microsoft 365 Club / Office 365 Club or similar vendor organization
Experience in product or service ownership
Experience in being a subject matter expert for a product or service
Basic Project Management skills
Basic Business Analysis skills
Application development skills
Microsoft IT certifications

Formal Education & Certification :
A relevant degree or equivalent or a BE / B Tech / MCA from a reputable institute is desirable
MCSA or MCSE or relevant certification in Microsoft Office 365 is desirable
Business Analysis Diploma or equivalent is desirable
PRINCE 2 Foundation level is desirable
ITIL V3 foundation is desirable
