Leadership team and handle Phaco development for West Asia
About Our Client
They are a global; multinational company based in Switzerland. As the global leader in eye care, they develop and manufacture innovative medicines and devices to serve the full life cycle of eye care needs.
1. Devise, plan, coordinate and implement Phaco Development initiatives to accelerate the number of ophthalmologist trained to provide quality Phaco & VR surgery, to increase the overall number of procedure conversions from ECCE / SICS to Phaco & quality 20G , MIVS procedures.
2. Lead; organise all programs in co-ordination with PD Regional Training Manager to train the PD / VRD team their functional competency Assessments ( PD -
ADP), affiliated personnel, trainees, and instructors, on-site consultants in strictly executing the Alcon Phaco Development Clinical "Best Practices", SOP and PD / VRD strategy in the area of responsibility.
3. Implement processes and execute plans with the PD / VRD team and local Surgical Marketing / Sales to develop "SOV Programs" at key Congresses, Symposiums and Special Events.
Ensure all Phaco Training Centres of Excellence are adhering to the program SOP.
4.Identification and development of "KOL's and FOL's" to act as Phaco Development / VR Development / Glaucoma Development Instructors, onsite-
consultants and champions for the hands-on training of ophthalmologists within West Asia. Ensure program standardisation.
Create and maximise SOV activities to educate and training surgeons on Phaco as well as key Alcon products; Centurion, Constellation, Infiniti with OZiL.
Laureate, AcrySof (MP, SP, SN, IQ, Toric, ReSTOR), VES and Cutting Instruments as the standard of care throughout West Asia.
Ophthalmologist degree, MBA with strong communication skills and language proficiency or at least 5 years of related education and work experience within ophthalmology
Minimum Qualification - Ophthalmologist from a recognised institution in India with Surgical
Phaco Development or Ophthalmic Surgical Sales Experience.
Preferred Qualification - 5 to 6 years post-degree clinical experience with minimum one year experience with a recognised international or domestic ophthalmic company.
Hospital based Surgical and Clinical Ophthalmology practice experience
