Drive overall EHS Strategy and program management for the production facility
Participate as an active member in teams for driving EHS improvements and managing EHS programs, including site safety and environmental committees;
energy teams and; behavioural safety teams.
Facilitate incident investigations and advise management on appropriate corrective actions
Participate in risk assessments, advising risk assessment teams on the assessment process; quantification of risks; prioritizing risks for action and effective risk control measures.
Report all required EHS data to site, Business Unit management, Business Unit EHS and Corporate EHS using, as appropriate, the and Business Unit EHS reporting tools.
Plan and deliver EHS training to create the competencies needed to deliver the EHS program.
Education / Critical Experience
Bachelor’s in engineering and educational qualification in EHS.
5-7 years of EH&S experience required preferably in multinational manufacturing company.
Knowledge of Indian EHS legislation (legal / company requirements).
Fluent in English and one major language of the region (Knowledge of Kannada is preferable).
Experience in a technical, engineering or manufacturing role preferred
Demonstrated communication, collaboration and team building skills preferred
Demonstrated ability in conducting audits and inspections of all aspects of EHS throughout a Site
