Job Description

This is a top-notch position reporting directly to the group promotor with an objective to grow it Chief operative Officer (COO).

Drive company vision to grow multi-folds and lead the surgical , medical devices and health care manufacturing segment comprising of varied Infusion Therapy, Central Venous Access catheters, Anesthesia, Urology, Gastroenterology, Blood Collection Management System, Surgery / Wound Drainage and Dialysis segment etc.

with effective Leadership, Policies, Procedures, Strategies and Procedures to drive Best Manufacturing and Business Excellence Practices across functions.

Manage entire gamut of tasks related to factory administration, operations, stocks, dispatch, production, order execution, quality, purchase, manpower / labor, security, safety and all day to day tasks including Boundary Management.

Drive continual improvement across functions to enhance business profitability and operations.

Manage and improve plant efficiency across Production, Operation, SCM, Inventory, Quality, Preventive and Productive Maintenance including waste reduction.

Develop innovation, lead change and communicate to sell ideas among all key stake holders.

Plan, organize and direct manufacturing and maintenance operation which ensures the most effective return on assets.

Initiate plans and processes to minimize manufacturing cost through effective utilization of manpower, machines, materials and capital.

Well versed with liaison with Government Authorities and provide guidance on performance standards, policies and procedures to stake holders.

Encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact / farsighted based problem solving.

Provide training and refresher training, and recommend professional development opportunities for team members.

Define, implement and review systems, staffing and training needs to optimize performance and to achieve strategic business objectives.

Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes.

Must have good computer knowledge and ability to work on ERP system that is being used.

BE / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering / Bio-Technology with 15+ years experience managing entire gamut of factory administration, operations, stocks, dispatch, production, order execution, quality, purchase, manpower / labor, security, safety and all day to day tasks including Boundary Management.

Knowledge of creative / innovative manufacturing practices in medical devices / surgical equipment manufacturing company with thrust on improvement of plant efficiency across Production, Operation, SCM, Inventory, Quality, Preventive and Productive Maintenance, HR etc.

Ability to lead change management and communicate effectively with all key stake holders.

Well versed with factory operations, statutory compliances and exposure to challenging entrepreneur work environment.

Excellent team leader with ability to grow sense of ownership among employees to meet target.

Should be able to strategize and create systems and processes to yield manufacturing and business results.

Well versed with liaison with Government authorities and ability to provide guidance on performance standards, policies and procedures to stake holders.

Ability to define, implement and review systems, staffing and training to optimize performance and to achieve strategic business objectives.

Must have good computer knowledge and ability to work on SAP system.
