This role is for a Global QA Lead within the GM Trade Management (TM) IT function based in India. TM IT has 12 global Agile development teams, two thirds of which are India based.

You will work with Application owners and SMEs within these teams to measure and drive improvements in test coverage through Promoting standard methodology in functional testing, and fast-

growing regression test coverage for the software stack (6.8mn Lines of Code).

Specific areas of responsibility include :

  • Ownership of Regression, Functional and Performance test suites. This includes the definition of tests and their ongoing execution.
  • Defining Environment requirements for scaling test execution
  • Provide Governance around test frameworks and tooling
  • Project Handle TM work for F2B Testing projects and Mandatory programs (eg. Windows 10)
  • Handle and mentor QA team (mix of permanent and vendor staff)
  • Chair the Release to Production meeting for, questioning test approach and confirming Quality gates have been passed
  • Drive improvements to Test & Release documentation process
  • Perform SOX Testing on Release to Production artifacts and user Entitlements
  • Track DevOps tooling adoption across TM providing regular status
  • Liaise with central DevOps tools team and other DevOps leads to raise blocking issues and provide input into Book of Work
  • You Offer

  • You have experience in testing applications which support the trade processing of derivatives
  • You have financial product knowledge, derivatives being a distinct advantage
  • Experience with Test Automation tooling eg. UFT, Selenium, Cucumber, ALM
  • Experience with service virtualization tools (eg. DevTest) an advantage
  • Experience working in / alongside Agile teams (Scrum / Kanban)
  • A deep understanding of DevOps concepts ie. Continuous Integration + Delivery, Automated Build + Deploy (Team City / Jenkins), Containerization, Virtualization
  • SQL Skills (Oracle / Sybase / SQL Server)
  • Experience handling vendor engagements
