  • Provides analytical and business intelligence support to a business unit by proactively analyzes business data, interprets and provides assessments of trends, identifying and explaining variances from goals
  • Delivers ad-hoc report and analysis requests and use visualization technologies to tell data stories
  • Interacts with business partners to understand business strategy, conditions, and problem areas and influences decision making based on information gained from deep dive analysis
  • Ability to distill informal customer requirements into problem definitions, dealing with ambiguity and competing objectives
  • Ability to manage and quantify the improvement in customer experience or value for the business resulting
  • Produces actionable & compelling recommendations by interpreting, exploring, identifying and communicating insights discovered from complex data-sets
  • Build robust linkages between data queries and automation programs considering resiliency and scalability
  • Champion process improvements, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the organization as it pertains to business intelligence, analytics, and data integration capabilities Maintains databases, cleansing and validating data as needed
  • Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent with 2-6 years of experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel and meet constantly changing timelines and have a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong with database management systems with proficiency in data mining, data transformation, and database building (ETL, SQL, OLAP, SSIS, SSAS, Teradata)
  • Solid experience working with business functions and understanding requirements, and translating them into technical / functional language
  • Data-savvy, good at data wrangling, ability to work with massive datasets, ability to synthesize and deal with data imperfections where data is incomplete or inaccurate.
  • Exposure to programming in R, Python, dotnet.

  • Challenges oneself and the team to constantly look for new approaches and look for a creative idea for improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain dataset in Dell Teradata data warehouse. Strong analytical skills; ability to assess large sets of data and analyze to support key decisions
  • Business process knowledge with process mapping skills. Ability to articulate business value, customer value or business impact.
  • Strong ability to translate business impact into financial benefits for CBAs.

  • Ability to manage and lead business intelligence, automation projects
  • Build interactive dashboards to analyze the data, using tools like Tableau, Power BI etc and present the data-backed story of insights and recommendations to business stakeholders
