Job Purpose
Efficiently and economically approve annual budget sanctioned for Service Delivery by making best use of the available budget.
Allocate the budget to each Circle or Project by validating budget does not exceed the amount approved in the Business Case
Accountable Liaising with DFT and VBSPO and Shared service so that the teams adhere to their respective TAT
Key Result Areas / Accountabilities
Use SAP, COSMOS and other software to manage the process of creating NFA, getting them approved, including CXO approval.
Monitoring BOQ / PR / PO to ensure the budget has been used for goods and services for which budget was allocated.
Tracking of available budget and reconcile with the BOQ / PR / PO and Open PO and publish monthly TAT reports for all stakeholders.
Identify corrective action to bring expenditure back in line with budget for PO Short closed / Deleted
Adhering to the Delegation of Authority related to PR / PO and comply with existing financial rules and regulations governing them
Monitor MRN pending against OSM and Secondary Logistics
Monitor Location ID Creation pendency
Trouble Shooting with Accenture team on SAP related errors and Sky productivity team on METAL related errors concerning BOQ / PR / PO / GRN / MRN
Maintain master data concerning METAL
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
10 + year experience in managing Capex and Opex for TES SD.
Manage Cross functional team to ensure budget allocation and effective use of budget.
Experience in managing finance and commercial process
Provide data to the annual budget planning to ensure that budgets set are realistic and accurately.
Must have technical / professional qualifications
Commercially astute
Ability to structure and prioritize workloads around customer and business requirements
Ability to manage dynamic, high- growth, high- uncertainty environments
Educational Qualifications
Graduate, with minimum of a bachelor’s degree, Finance background is preferred.
