Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :
Experience in Design & Development of theHydraulic Components for the Earth moving, Mining and Construction machineries& equipment’s.
Preferably in mobile Hydraulic Cylinders likedouble acting, single acting, tie-rod, trunnion mounted, bolted, threaded,telescopic, position sensing and strut suspension cylinders.
Strong analytical skills & experience indesigning the components to meet the machine system performance requirementsand cost targets.
Experience in Materials, Cylinder manufacturingprocesses, Castings, Forgings, Bolted Joints, Welded Joints, Static &reciprocating seals, bearing sizing and Virtual Validation (structural).
Reliability & Warranty analysis.
Define and execute the Virtual, On machinevalidation plan through DFMEA, DVP&R.
Thorough knowledge in Component Sizing,Selection and Performance study.
Able to Conduct Concept and Detailed DesignReviews with the Engineering teams for NPI, NTI programs. Resolve fieldwarranty related issues.
Conduct competitive assessments at Component level& System level.
Collaborate with the Global / Regional purchasingand manufacturing facility teams to support the product quality & costtargets, supplier process audit, sourcing, PPAP / APQP process validation.
Troubleshoot field failures, Warranty claims,factory issues, Cost reduction project requires component evaluation / redesign.
Experience in Project management, hands on Creo,Tolerance Stack-up, and GD&T.
Responsible for Releasing and maintenance andmanage the Bill of material.
Preferred virtual validation engineeringexperience (Matlab, CFD, Creo Simulate).
Required Qualifications :
Bachelors / Masters degree with 6-9 years of experience in heavy equipment electro hydraulic systems & components design.
Experience in earth moving or mining equipment is must.
Creo & Creo Simulate, Strong analytical skills
Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks
