This is a position at WFEGS and will be functionally aligned with the US based product management team of Digital Solutions for Business LOB.
About the Role
As a Product Designer for Pioneer, you will divide your time across designing and documenting new features for the Pioneer Reference Application, collaborating with partners in design, product, and technology, and supporting efficient and effective adoption of the Pioneer Design System across applications and major initiatives in the Commercial Bank.
Applies user experience design principles, internal standards, and visual design and branding guidance to create detailed design specifications of design patterns and key page types for the Reference Application
Takes an active role in supporting definition and implementation of new UX processes and standards
Translates business requirements into intuitive user experience solutions
Develops and maintains excellent, collaborative relationships with peers and partners in design, product, and technology
Participate in user research / usability testing (as needed or appropriate)
Contributes to the evolution and maturity of the Pioneer Design System
Participates in Pioneer Studio team activities and additional workstreams as required
5-7 years’ experience in digital customer experience design, including responsive design pattern creation and usage
Experience designing responsive UX solutions that span multiple devices and breakpoints (desktop, tablet, smartphone)
UX specifications experience that includes information architecture experience (strategic planning and diagrammatic skills), low-to-high fidelity wireframe production, limited animation or motion graphic design, and interaction rules documentation
Ability to apply defined styles and brand guidance using a shared UI toolkit
Detailed knowledge of user centered design methodologies and user experience best practices
Ability to ask appropriate questions, communicate effectively and persuasively to convey design solutions to a broad range of stakeholders : product managers, engineers, customers, etc.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization, logic and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; comfortable with tight deadlines
Command of a variety of design tools, notably Visio, Sketch, InVision, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with basic presentation layer code / working knowledge of application layer design, including design systems and shared code libraries
Desired Skills :
Familiarity with web-based applications for financial services including; commercial, pre-paid and gift card expense management tools for desktop and mobile, as well as treasury reporting services
Familiarity with user research / usability testing
