Cisco seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead Solutions Led engagements for Cisco to help customers maximize solution availability and functionality to achieve their business goals.
The Architect delivers the technologies, solutions and services customers need to authoritatively lead their networks. In this role, you will be "Cisco''s face to the customer," working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment as a transparent contributor delivering on Customer Technology roadmap and execution.
The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, comfortable with challenging the status quo and rapidly responding to raised issues.
With a premier mix of broad networking knowledge and specific area expertise, as well as excellent Customer Relationship Management skills, you are well positioned to become a trusted advisor capable of building validated, long-term relationships with customers.
Solution Architects are responsible for delivering technical lifecycle service including Planning, Design, Implementation and Optimization of Cisco Enterprise and Service Provider Solutions.
Products and Solutions that Architect will work on will include the Core Routing and Switching portfolio, the Data Centre portfolio, Network Management and Element Management systems.
Examples of protocols and technologies and needs to be proficient in include SDN, SD-WAN, ACI, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, QoS, Traffic Engineering, IPv6, Multicast.
Planning and design will include working directly with customer, account teams and business units to build Customer Requirements Documents (CRDs) and low level designs (LLDs).
Design responsibilities will include sizing, scalability planning, content billing, routing and traffic planning, service selection.
What you'll do :
Architect will be required to review / customize various design and operational documents for the customer engagement. Architect will be required to provide technical input to Statements of Work, RFPs and contracts.
Implementation services will include on-site and remote support, configuration, network connectivity and testing of services, NRFU / Acceptance, and Customer and Partner training and workshops.
Architect will provide lifecycle services for various types of engagements including Proof-of Concept, Early Field Trials, Pre-sales Trials and large scale deployments

Typically requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus 10 years related technical experience.
Must have hands-on technical experience in the following technologies and protocols : SD-WAN, ACI, SDA, Ethernet Switching and Data centre infrastructure deployments-Compute / Storage / Network, Network Management and Element Management systems.
Have strong hands-on experience in Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco Routing and switching, security and Data centre solutions.
Good communications skills are a requirement and have a demonstrated ability to relate to customer representatives at various levels.
Have good technical writing skills and have experience in writing high test and implementation plans.Expertise dealing with high stress situations and quick changing circumstancesSkills and experience in working independently, resolving methods and procedures on new assignmentsGood interpersonal and team work skills.
Primary work location will be Delhi with Moderate travel required.
