Scope of Responsibilities
Lead a team of talented analysts focused on individual components of analytics.
Work with Director & Marketing leads to establish the overarching strategy and approach of the analytics team, including roadmap of key projects and opportunities.
Share insights and interpretations of marketing information that are meaningful to the executives at any level.
Work closely with the marketing automation team to review data sets, test hypotheses and ensure that Eloqua and salesforce.
com are capturing meaningful and accurate information.
Provide proactive thought leadership to drive strategic analytics initiatives across marketing
Partner with key stakeholders and manage team to provide compelling analyses, clear reporting, and insightful recommendations across B2B Lead Funnel
Develop strategy to leverage predictive and descriptive statistical models to improve insights, enhance data-driven business strategies, and improve pipeline growth
Maintain ownership and support ongoing evolution of KPIs for the Marketing organization
Conceptualize and build multi-touch Attribution Model to identify key drivers at various key stages of the sales cycle
Manage development and delivery of key business dashboards and visualizations
Stay up to speed with new developments in analytical platforms and techniques, incl. data mining, modeling and other analytics;
recommend actions that will enable TLs to develop these enhanced capabilities; develop analytical / data roadmap for the business
Manage development and delivery of key business dashboards and visualizations in MicroStrategy
Analyze data to discern business relevant trends and opportunities and present recommendations to business leaders
Work with technical teams and IT to ensure that the infrastructure for analytics and reporting is robust and suitable to meet current and future needs
Skills and Experience
Strong business acumen, coupled with creative thinking and exceptional analytical skills
Experience successfully leading a team of analytics professionals within a marketing role or context
Understands how to effectively bridge the gaps with sales operations reporting & analytics when capturing and analyzing data from different perspectives
Minimum 10-15 years in marketing with 5+ years hands on analytics experience with proven quantitative orientation.
Detailed understanding of digital & demand marketing and inside sales lead management
Ability to deal with ambiguity and create action plans in solving unstructured problems.
Ability to thrive in a matrix environment and influence adoption of new thinking and drive change.
Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
Excellent written and verbal communicator able to interface with, present to and rationalize with individuals at all levels of the organization
Strong critical thinking and strategic approach complemented with a bias for action. You will need to be able to develop a strategy and execution plan that makes things happen
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing to critical deadlines and deliverables
Understanding of how to leverage and integrate data across multiple sources to create compelling analyses
Comfort in manipulating large volumes of data, creating new and improved techniques and / or solutions for data collection, management, and usage.
Strong attention to detail, well organized administratively

Exceptional interpersonal skills
Experience working with SalesForce.com and Eloqua
Experience working with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau
Experience programming in R
Knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques such as linear / logistical regression, predictive modeling, cluster analysis, and CHAID
Education / Training
10+ years experience in Data Analysis
Knowledge of B2B Database Marketing, preferably in High Tech / Software industry
Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Field (Statistics, Econometrics, Management Sciences, Marketing Research, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.
Masters degree preferred
