This position will bring technical expertise in the area of Automation testing and will be able to independently perform assigned project automation tasks.
Responsibilities include :
Shall be owning and responsible for delivering high quality automation products / contents in the assigned project.
Work closely with team members to guide, help and co-ordinate events between cross functional teams.
At times, work independently with cross functional team for smoother project execution.
Deliver high quality automation solution
Get the solution reviewed and incorporate review changes to the satisfactory level
Conducting POCs to prove the solution whenever required.
Active involvement in setting and configuring test environments
Preparing and Maintaining architecture and framework documents
Automation of functional and non-functional test cases
Identify & Report defects. Verify defect resolutions.
Active participation in Defect Resolution Cycle
Participate in the review of engineering artifacts (such as System Requirements)
Work in compliance with Varian’s quality system.
As a part of status reporting , will gather different test metrics
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required :
BE, B Tech, MSc, MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science
Experience (Years) :
4-6 years of experience in QA Automation
Technologies required : C#, CodedUI, VSTS, Automation Testing,
Should be able to understand business requirements and develop relevant scenarios and automation scripts.
Strong understanding of OOP, .Net / C#
Strong knowledge of Client / Server and Web based architecture.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with VS Test Tools : MSTest, CodedUI
Hands-on experience in setting up UI Automation Builds in a Continuous Integration environment in Team Build, TeamCity or any other continuous integration server
Experience working on Virtualization techniques using Citrix and / or VMware
Exposure to Silk performer tool for non-functional tests
Sound understanding of agile testing and Scrum
Must be familiar with the SDLC in general and Testing Life Cycle in particular.
Clear concepts about of Continuous Integration
A background in a product-development company is preferred
