As the School Sales Manager , you will be responsible for the complete business in the assigned territory. You will retain the existing customers and source new business through various available lead sources in the territory.
You will also be working with collection manager of the territory to ensure collection of the outstanding amount from schools.
What you will do : Business Development :
Lead generation - Participating in events, exhibitions to generate leads. Organizing customer meets to build new relationships and strengthen existing relationships
Channel Development - Identifying, developing and managing channel partners who can generate new business or influence a sale
School acquisition - Reaching out to prospective schools through various lead sources like references, channel etc., building a pipeline and signing them up
School Retention and upgrade - Retaining all existing schools and upgrading the value of business within the portfolio
Collection - Collection of money due from schools on time.
School relationship :
Relationship - Managing relationships with the designated schools within the territory
Communication - Ensuring periodic communication with the School Owner / Correspondent and sharing the progress of program implementation in the School
Program implementation :
Coordination - Being the single point of contact for the school and coordinating internally with operations, product specialists and product team to ensure complete and efficient implementation
Service satisfaction :
Customer Satisfaction - Driving customer satisfaction for the managed schools by monitoring and ensuring on time, high quality product and service delivery
Proactive problem solving - Being transparent in sharing the feedback of the Schools and proactively resolving issues or queries of the clients in a timely manner
Escalating all issues concerning program implementation to the respective Zonal / Regional Business Manager
Reporting and Documentation :
Documentation : Completing all documentation regarding school sign up, collecting advance amount as per policy and engaging the schools as per the need
Reporting : Keeping all reporting formats, CRM, documentation etc. updated on day-to-day basis
Salary : INR 5,00,000 - 8,50,000 P.A.

What you need to know / have :
Bachelor's degree / MBA / PGDBM with 3-5 years of experience in B2B Sales
Experience in Concept Selling, especially experience in appointment of distributors / acquisition of school
A high energy job which requires an individual to spend 100% of the time in the field
Teamwork and collaboration - Should be able to work with other team member
Collection of receivables - Should be able to collect the receivables from the customers based on agreed terms
Problem Solving Skills - Should be able to identify roadblocks and find ways to navigate them
