The primary objective is to run the companys day-to-day business, and to ensure the companys good reputation and profitability, maintaining the highest HSSEQ standards

Manage, coach and control the entire organisation, ensuring that all

policies, procedures and work instructions are followed by all


Maintain and optimise operational standards with special attention to

HSSEQ standards

Establish rigorous operational Key Performance Indicators

Reporting of operational statistics, including non-conformities, KPIs and


Financial Management including budget preparation, financial

forecasting and reporting with complete P&L responsibility and cost


Team Management development and motivation of the team with

appropriate objectives and KPIs

Recruitment and development of suitable manpower

Manage / monitor the Operations Departments in order to achieve

synergies and ensure achievement of the operational targets, sales

targets and business plans

Regular meetings and dialogue with the customer

Translate business plans into action plans with appropriately allocated

resources required for achievement of the plan-objectives

Proactively and regularly engage in the study of processes pertaining to

project management and asset maintenance to improve the operational

efficiency and reduce cost

Ensure correct and timely invoicing to customers

Follow-up of payroll, invoice and petty-cash payments

Desired Candidate Profile

Skills Required :

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in a supervisory / management role, in a logistic company preferably in chemical logistics.
  • Degree in management, business administration or logistics
  • Proven experience in leading multi-cultural teams
  • Proven track record of successful interaction with clients and business development
  • Knowledge of the Petrochemical industry is an advantage
  • Knowledge of service-level recording and achievement
  • Experience with financial reporting and budgets
  • Proven understanding of high HSSEQ standards
  • Experience in continual improvement processes
  • Experience in management by objectives
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent English language skills, spoken and written
  • Other languages are an advantage
  • Education-

    UG : Any Graduate - Any Specialization

    PG : Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
