Job Description

The Software Engineer will contribute in the development of software products in the area of Deployment & Monitoring Solutions.

These applications are fully developed at the Pune R&D Center and are used globally in hospitals and cancer centers.

Responsibilities :

  • Demonstrate leadership, technically mentor and scrum team members to drive towards continuously improving their effectiveness.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Tech Leads and Architect, influence product architecture and design discussions. Write and review high and low level design specifications for the project.
  • Responsible for hands-on development and guiding scrum team members, help resolve development / coding issues and ensure that code is written as per best practices as well as that is written with performance tuning in mind.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality software solutions.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings as well as all other activities normally expected from a scrum team.
  • As scrum team member to ensure that scrum practices are followed, participate in scrum meetings and contribute in producing scrum artifacts.
  • Design, implementation and testing of software application being developed.
  • Provide effort estimation for the requirements along with design details and dependencies
  • Responsible for following engineering practices (Requirement Analysis, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Code Review, and Test Driven Development, Test Automation etc.).

    BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science or related discipline.

    Number of year’s related experience :

  • 2-4 years of experience in software product development environment.
  • Special Knowledge / Skills : Required :

  • 2-4 years of experience in the area of software application development.
  • Web client development skills - HTML 5.0, JQuery, JavaScripts, CSS , Angular JS
  • Strong fundamentals of software design (OOAD, SOA, Web Services etc.)
  • Experience working with source control and configuration management tools like TFS.
  • Understanding of Build Management, Continuous Integration (CI)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desired :

  • Development skills in C#.NET,WCF.
  • Hands on experience in software development using agile / scrum framework.
  • Experience developing products conforming to US FDA quality system regulations.
  • Experience working in a multi-site environment.
