Responsible for all aspects of PL master data integrity that is used to drive all aspects of PL functional efficiency, effectiveness and validated positive financial impact for the BU.
Collaborate with Group, Division and BU global teams on the development and implementation of new standards, processes and tools.
Responsible for the BU RMMG Sharepoint site, ensuring structure and content are accurate, available and useful to PL users / teams
Coach and mentor PL resources plus develop, maintain and roll out common training programs for various BU and Group PL processes and tools.
Define records management standard, working in conjunction with Group & Division, followed by establishing compliance rigor & methodology
Consolidate PL information and data feeds from multiple sources, providing analysis and interpretation to support improved decision quality, definition of causal factors and prioritization
Provide other ad hoc PL analysis, including supporting PL performance audits as required by the PL and BU Management Teams
Drive the organization to develop various level project activity reports as required by the PL and BU Management teams, in turn responsible to recommend reporting efficiencies to drive increased people productivity.
Develop and drive overall BU PL annual key performance budgeting and target setting process, working directly with PL teams and with the Group PL common target setting tool.
Provide validated mid-year performance data that will be used within the mid-year PDA process
Responsible for the thought leadership associated with the long term development of analysis and reporting capabilities for the function, including the identification and adoption of best / transferable practices, especially around advanced data analytics, PL big-
data strategy and machine learning
Key interface with Group and Division in respect to building future initiatives to drive greater innovation, efficiency and effectiveness around data management and associated decision making
Lead special projects with long term global PL strategy focus in alignment with BU and Group PL targets and strategy.
Collateral responsibility includes to drive DPO-improvement, payment term harmonization to improve working capital, ownership for supply base complexity reduction from current state & coordination / reporting of trade tariff exposure
Manage BU RMMG Sharepoint site, ensuring structure and content are accurate, available and useful to PL users / teams.
Continuously benchmarks peer group and facilitates sharing of best tool and process practices within RMMG.
Bachelor Degree in PL, Procurement, Accounting, Finance or Management
Minimum 5 years of experience in PL, business controlling, financial analyst or similar role
Strong analytical skills, ability to develop reports and processes
Exceptional MS Excel skills, knowledge of other MS Office applications and Sharepoint site management
Experience with ABB PL tools and processes
Good knowledge of ABB business, policies, and global organization
Auditing experience, preferably trained, qualified and certified
Strong networking approach & excellent ability to guide, coach and mentor others
Experience creating and implementing new processes or programs with strong change-management capabilities
Ability to drive continuous improvements, in combination with a strong background in driving cost reduction
Possesses a sense of urgency with a high degree of comfort working in a fast moving and demanding environment
Effective communicator, strong presentation skills and good meeting facilitator
