Job Description

This role sits within our Financial & Risk ( F&R ) business. On January 30, 2018, Thomson Reuters announced that it signed a definitive agreement to enter into a strategic partnership with private equity funds managed by Blackstone related to the company's F&R business.

As part of the transaction, Thomson Reuters has agreed to sell a 55% majority stake in Financial & Risk and will retain a 45% interest in the business.

Thomson Reuters will maintain full ownership of its Legal, Tax & Accounting and the Reuters News businesses. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of the year and is subject to specified regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

The Global Content Enhancement support is responsible for providing end to end support for content enhancement for clients.

The team works closely with Business Owners, Helpdesk Management, Sales, Content Management, Account Managers and the F&R business globally to facilitate support for clients.

The role entails Query handling, Escalation Management, drive projects to improve performance, knowledge and quality of responses within the Enhancement group.

Independently work with Content management to monitor content enhancement request.

Facilitate end to end process of Content Enhancement for better responsiveness to clients and key stakeholders.

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

  • Support the creation of content enhancement tickets for all asset class.
  • Ensure client’s content enhancement request is accurately captured and quality / complete data is delivered.
  • Expertise to Interpret and analyze the client requirements and provide comprehensive solutions by engaging with Business Owners.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for managing escalation from account managers, GTM team and other stake holders.
  • Independently work with Business Owner, Content Team and Specialist groups to resolve complex issues.
  • Conduct product testing and manage projects as deemed necessary by the product management team.
  • To co-ordinate with the Business Owner to ensure content enhancement are completed in due course.
  • Continuously build new knowledge and skills to determine Enhancement request and coordinate with right business owner on the progress of Enhancement.
  • Share best practices with the group and innovate to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Facilitate problem solving on data issues for better responsiveness to clients and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and consistent.
  • Ensure that helpdesk and content team follow the right process which helps to meet the service targets.

    Qualification :

  • Educated to graduate level education with a degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, or Finance.
  • Required Skills :

  • Minimum 2-3 years overall work experience
  • At least 1 year hands on experience on real-time product.
  • Expertise in real time data flows, databases and financial markets
