Job Description

We are looking for a subject matter expert in one or more of the Oracle Cloud SaaS Domains HCM, ERP, SCM, CX to design training content, author quizzes and write lab instructions for high quality online training for customers.

The job role will require working with content writers and other SMEs to build engaging training content that will provide valuable learning experience to our students.


  • Design training content on Oracle Cloud SaaS for various job roles and experience levels
  • Author quiz questions to assess the student’s understanding of concepts
  • Write steps for hands-on lab activities
  • Work with writers, graphic artists, and editors to convert content into interesting and easy-to-understand training
  • Manage all phases of content creation design, writing, reviews, and release
  • Education & Experience

  • Bachelors / Masters in Engineering
  • Extensive knowledge of one or more Oracle Cloud SaaS products - HCM, ERP, SCM, CX
  • Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Excellent flair for designing training content that is relevant to various audience levels
  • Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and keep abreast with product releases
  • Excellent problem solver and team player

  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.

    Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams.

    Solicit and incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.

    Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or Instructional Design.

    Four years adult education experience (as teacher or curriculum developer). Seven years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software.

    Strong SQL and PL / SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of XML, Java, and J2EE technologies. Experience with Oracle9i Database administration.

    Knowledge of Oracle9i Application server.
