Overallpurpose of role :
This is a senior leadership role withinthe India Group Service Company (GSC), previously BSS & BTCI, responsiblefor working with both the India domestic business and GSC to ensure compliance withthe Barclays Group Resilience Policy.
Theincumbent will also be the lead Resilience Partner for COO & FunctionsGlobally and be part of India GSC Extended Exco Leadership .
She / he will also be responsible forbuilding the new strategy for the GSC and responsible for working with seniorstakeholders in Service Company (COO & Functions) globally (UK & US) todrive resilience by design programme.
The role holder will articulate standardsand develop, maintain and improve an effective business aligned ResilienceProgramme.
The candidate will provide strategic advice to senior stakeholdersglobally to construct and maintain well controlled, resilient processes andwill build and drive the execution of a regional resilience plan based on riskprofiles for each business and function.
Building the Cyber Resilience framework, developing psychologicalresilience model and the framework for Organisationalresilience will be critical deliverables.

Primary duties :
oAct as a key point of contact for seniormanagement, regulators and audit bodies for resilience related matters for theService Company.
oEnsure the businesses and functions maintain and deliveragainst their Resilience strategies, ensuring the establishment of effectivegovernance to maintain the Resilience (including recovery) capabilities to theBusiness Units Risk Appetite position.
oDrive the Cyber Resilience programme for the bankand develop the Organisational Resilience framework.
oResponsible for driving and leading the CrisisManagement team for India
oEnsure the India Business and GSC adopts theGroup’s approach towards the management of Resilience and operate in such a waythat ensures services to all stakeholders, clients and customers are notmaterially impacted during adverse events.
oActively engage the businesses and functions to ensureresilience is owned and embedded as part of business / function planning,management and development.
oEnsure that each Business unit has an up to datecomprehensive and robust Resilience Risk profile and has translated this into aResilience plan that addresses Critical and major gap.
Where missing, lead thebusinesses / functions in compiling and maintaining a Resilience Profile for eachF2B Process.
oProvide strategic direction and resilienceguidance to Senior Management including both Co-CEOs of GSC and Executivelevels
oLead the India Business Units in identifying anddocumenting all Front-to-Back processes (F2BPs) including defining the overallrequirements that support the F2BP including Supplier, Technology, PremisesResilience.
oLead the India Business Units in theidentification and remediation of gaps in Resilience and ensure the implementationof innovative solutions to mitigate Resilience risks.
oEnsure Resilience standards are embedded in designof key strategic projects / programmes
oEnsure quality assessment and oversight ofProgramme Delivery in line with the Group Policy and Standards.
oRepresent India Business and GSC at any necessary Resilienceand risk forums and steering committees.
oAct as an ambassador for Barclays, representingGroup Resilience & CSO as required at industry forums and duringindustry-wide exercises.
oEnsure that Crisis Leadership coverage is clearand agreed with firmwide Crisis Leadership team
oEnsure businesses have CLT call outs in place,that protocols are clear, understood and executable

Risk andControl : All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and dutiesare carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, EnterpriseWide Risk Management Framework and internal

oCompliance : ensure that the business understandsand adheres to the Barclays Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, complieswith all relevant regulatory policies (this includes completion of anymandatory training requirements).
oMonitor compliance across the supported areas policiesand standards in respect of Group Resilience.
oAssist with the review of the impact of currentand future regulatory and / or Barclay’s requirements for business resilience.
oManage risks, issues, risk and controlself-assessment’ actions and audit observations to satisfactory conclusion,producing dispensations, waivers, breaches where non-

Your Skills andQualifications will include
