The Data Platform Team is seeking an Applications Support Analyst with strong experience working with Linux and windows server environment.
In this position, you will be supporting multiple applications and will be responsible for triage and troubleshooting production issues.
This position is based in our Bangalore office .
What You Will Do
Responsible for resolving complex issues involving our own and vendor based integrated applications
Using appropriate resources to report, troubleshoot, diagnose and escalate incidents and requests as needed
Effectively collaborate with peers in Data Platform and IT teams to provide solutions to the customer's problems; working closely with IT, QA, Reporting and PMO teams
Analyzing data, log files, Event Logs, thread dumps, etc.
Reproducing customer issues, including setting up and configuring runtime environments
Identifying and documenting product defects for review and report those to QA and Development teams or Vendors
Maintaining a knowledge base of known issues and solutions by each application
5+ years of experience with supporting different multi-tiered software applications.
Experience in working with Linux and Windows Server environment
Knowledge of the following in one of the two areas is a big plus :
Area-1 (Reports and Integration) : Tableau, Alteryx, SSRS, SnapLogic, Azure DataFactory
Area-2 (DevOps) : GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, PowerShell
Programming and debugging skills are an advantage
A passion for working with customers and a strong ability and desire to handle technical issues with varying levels of complexity
Ability to work independently, learn quickly and be proactive
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be on call 24x7 on occasion
Ability to work off hours on occasion
