Responsible for activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate payroll database. Monitors all aspects of payroll processes necessary to ensure accurate payroll checks, check distribution, third party reporting and remittances for deductions, accounting, and taxes.
Responsible for monitoring payroll input from numerous mechanical sources and ensuring that all manual entry is accurate and timely.
Maintains system security and to ensure data integrity. Conducts audits in order to analyze the information in the payroll database and that it accurately reflects data in HR system of record.
Responsible for documenting requirements for system changes due to new requirements and / or system upgrades. Conducts system test activities before changes are implemented in production.
Analyzes and may resolve issues related to payroll system performance. Conducts impact analysis and obtains required sign offs where applicable.
Works with limited guidance on projects within defined criteria. May provide direction and / or training to less experienced associates.
Provides solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems.
