Make a difference in a company that's changing the world. The Red Hat Global Operations Sales Incentive team is looking for a Commissions Analyst to join us in Pune, India.
In this role, you will perform sales incentive reporting, analysis, data validation, and administration for the global Sales team.
You’ll work closely with the Sales Incentive team for each geographic region. As a Commissions Analyst, you will also produce quarterly commissions reports and presentations for the executive team and senior sales management and you'll be involved in APPX system maintenance and testing.
Primary job responsibilities
Perform validation and maintenance of commissions data from the commissions system
Extract, refine, and upload data from the bookings system to the commissions system every quarter end
Develop an understanding of the sales commissions plan structure and commissions system setup to audit the arrangement of sales incentive plans and assist with the rollout of mid-
year sales incentive changes
Work on ad hoc reporting and analysis requests and assist with sales incentive projects
Assist the global Sales Incentive team with quarterly commissions calculations
Work extended hours during quarter-end or year-end periods
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university or equivalent experience
2+ years of industry experience in sales operations, specifically dealing with commissions
Solid background in data and systems
Good analysis and quantitative skills; ability to work with large data sets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work extended hours during periods of high demand, e.g., quarter close or year end
Passionate about technology, open source, and Red Hat
Focused on delivering results in a customer-friendly, quality-first manner
Transactional reporting or sales commissions experience is a plus
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) or commissions software is a plus
