Operates and maintains the hardware and software systems for Atoll (2G,3G and 4G network and Microwave Link and Evenflow ( Tool to enable engineers to rollout, upgrade 2G,3G and network ).

also holds Site, Maintains high availabilityand optimal performance of customer’s infrastructure and of all IT and Telecom supported services.

Continuously improves system performance and optimizes the existing ways of working. Customise and develop codes to fix the issues / to provide the work around to the issues as pert of L3 team.

Adapts and contributes to the customization of hardware and software solutions based on customer requirements, delivering cost efficient services of high quality.

Aims to resolve incidents and service requests within agreed Service Level Agreements

He / She has to analyse the problem tickets and come with solution for permanent fix by customising / develop the code .

Must follow the CRQ process to deploy the patches and ensure all update patches are installed on the application and responsible for performance improvement.

  • Managing applications in terms of configuration, changes,implementation, rollout and preparation for all operated services including oncall duties
  • Performs health checks and troubleshooting activities in order to maintain the functioning state of the hardware and software systems, using the available tools
  • Resolving incidents, problemsand service requests including implementation of workarounds and changes. Thisincludes timely availability of major incident reports for any major incident and actively driving the implementation of appropriate counter measures
  • Support the System integrator in deploying the HW, Connectivity and deploying the EMS and NMS systems at the primary and secondary datacentres
  • Managing or executing the deployment of BAU patches, hot fixes in line with change management process
  • For some of the delivered solutions, modifies and adapts the existing software in order to reach better performance and customer experience.

  • Experience in managing teams of up to 20 people, performance manage ment, career management, skill development

    BE-E&TC / Computers

    12-15 years experience in managing O SS operations and leading a team of 20+ people comprising L1-L3 enegineers and solution architects

    Minimum 10 years of experience in development / L2 / L3 support of fault and performance management

    Certifications in Linux / unix; Experience in probing tools in a telecom environment

    Should have good knowledge on network planning

    Experience in managing the applications like Atoll, Evenflow

    Excellent coding skills on Java, C#, Python, Unix scripting,.NET

    Excellent troubleshooting skills

    Knowledge of other probing applications like Netscout

    Hands on experience on performance Management & fault management systems.

    Sound knowledge on Service & Network Assurance Side

    UNIX based operating systems such as RedHat Enterprise Linux

    Sound Knowledge on Unix Shell Scripting and Python

    Databases such as Oracle SQL, Oracle Exadata, MySQL, Sys admin,

    protocols such as : SNMP, CORBA, SOAP / XML

    Experience in a multinational environment

    Very good communication skills

    Techlead to the team and must have strong technical skills to support team as SME
