In this role, you have the opportunity to :

You will be part of the HISS Customer Operations (RI-Radiology Imaging) organization is involved in implementation and support services of ISPACS for all our global install base.

The HISS Customer Operations Bangalore organization is 160+ member strong team and plays a major role in Service Delivery, Implementation and Support.

You are responsible for :

Bring support-services thinking and mind-set into all aspects of problem escalations

Become key partner with our SCS team for continually L1 competency enhancements

Ensure that continue to be aware of the latest technical & organizational developments and their relevance to the business

Build partnership with end customer (wherever applicable)

Good understanding on Information technology components

Analyzing & troubleshooting various hardware components (compute / storage / Network) issues quickly and effectively that can be administered remotely

Analyzing and troubleshooting Operating Systems issues quickly and effectively

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience :

Years of Experience : 5+ Years

Area of Experience : Healthcare Product(s) support (PACS / DICOM / HL7 / EMR - Field support Engineers

Must have Any Degree

Preferred - B.E / B. Tech

Industry Certifications : MCSA / MCSE / MS SQL / any relevant certification

Willingness to work in shifts and 24 / 7 model.

Excellent communication skills

Exhibits good listening and comprehension

Prepare clear and concise written communications

Proper clear and concise verbal communication

Exposure to direct interactions with end customers

Knowledge on Operating Systems, tools & Applications

Good knowledge on below OS Troubleshooting

  • Client / Server OS Troubleshooting experience
  • File system (NTFS),
  • Microsoft Message Queuing
  • Good knowledge on industry standard virtualization technology (VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V etc.)VMware ESXi VMFS, ESXi configuration etc.
  • User of remote tools - RDP / Terminal Services and VNC etc.
  • Experience with imaging software
  • Good knowledge on MS SQL Configuration & troubleshooting
  • Knowledge on Compute Server / storage / network

    Compute & Storage

    Good knowledge on computer hardware Installation, configuration and maintenance methodologies

    Fair knowledge on various computer hardware IBM / DELL / HP etc.

    Knowledge on Server administration RAM / HDD / Firmware upgrade etc.

    Good understanding of storage concepts SAN, NAS, DAS


    Good understanding of LAN & WAN

    TCP / IP

    Microsoft AD, DNS, DHCP service

    Overall Good analytical & troubleshooting skills on above technologies

    PACS, HL7 Knowledge

    Strong knowledge on PACS (Picture Archival Communication System) in Hospital environment

    Good knowledge on HL7

    MySQL Database administration, Trouble shooting Database problems

    Handling HIS-PACS-VNA Integration

    PACS / DICOM / HL7 / EMR - knowledge
