Job Description

Artwork Operations oAssist in individual / mass artwork changes in the day-to-day environment and support major projects in the Novartis artwork domain.

oEnsure customer-focused lifecycle management for projects in case of launches, mock-ups, text changes, safety-related changes, transfers and technical changes.

oSupports the Artwork Operations team for meeting business priorities to ensure timely delivery of the approved artwork, especially for launches, safety-

related changes and transfers to guarantee fast and successful implementation of the Novartis Pharma products on the market (avoid stock-

out situations). oPerform and deliver quality reviews and trends, performance reporting, audit support and application user support related to Artwork Operations.

oEnsure on time availability of regulatory-compliant, high-quality artworks resulting in printed packaging materials for Novartis Pharma, but also for artworks created by other companies holding the marketing authorization, which are distributed via turntable Basel worldwide (avoid recalls).

oEnsure on time and in full delivery of services to internal artwork customers and stakeholders. oAccountable for high-quality artworks fully compliant with Novartis standards and in-

country regulatory, marketing, manufacturing and legal compliance.

  • GxP Processes oResponsible for GMP compliant documentation following external and internal regulatory aspects and processes.
  • Create and review GxP documents and reports like trends, performance, qualification, validation and technical investigations.

    oEnsure adherence to Novartis standards and quality manuals

  • Quality Standards oEnsure compliance to the Novartis internal quality standards, relevant regulatory requirements, filed product quality standards and service level agreements.
  • oEnsure creation and implementation of CAPAs for deviations and performance improvement for all involved parties. Escalate, lead or support service-

    related GxP and non-GxP issues to ensure timely investigation and compliance with local and global operating procedures. oSupport in enhancing quality drivers like upgrading standard operating procedures, working procedures and process charts as per business requirements.

  • Documentation oCreate, maintain and archive all documents related to Artwork Operations. Ensure that sufficient and relevant records are in place in line with Novartis standards.
  • Minimum requirements

    Bachelors or Masters of a University of Applied Science, Engineering Technical / Pharma Background is an advantage Fluency in English - both in speech and writing

  • Up to 2 years of experience in Artwork Operations and fair knowhow on its regulatory and quality aspects.
  • Ideal candidate would possess experience within the following :
  • Packaging industry
  • Artwork handling, creation or changes and coordination
  • Good file keeping skills and documentation archival & retrieval
