Oracle PEO DIS is seeking a CloudOperations Engineer to work with our innovative Cloud Team. PEO DIS cloud teamis building and supporting development of Oracle Cloud services running onOracle IaaS platform as well as the internal IaaS systems providing developmentVM capacity.
This is a worldwide team working with Oracle's Product DevelopmentOrganization and provides a unique opportunity to work with Oracle's latestcloud technologies.
Candidates for this position shouldhave deep knowledge in Cloud Computing, Linux, Networking, and databases. Thecandidate will work with development teams, deploy and support cloud servicesrunning on internal cloud systems and provide feedback to the cloud developmentorganizations.
The candidate should be a technical leader capable of leadingprojects with little oversight and have excellent troubleshooting skills withthe ability to collaborate with other teams to diagnose issues.
In addition to relevant technical competenceand experience, the job requires good networking and team working skills.He / she will work closely with diverse groups within the Product DevelopmentUnit including interaction with customers as well as line of business.
Thecandidate should have excellent written / verbal skills to create and maintainprofessional documentation.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems.
Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
