BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW

The Prime Services group, within the Securities division, is a fast-paced technology-driven business area, with a long track record of sustained growth within Goldman Sachs and the industry.

Prime Services is comprised of business units that provide Prime Brokerage, Derivatives Clearing, Stock Loan, and Risk / Margin Financing services.

GLOBAL TEAM OVERVIEW

The Goldman Sachs Prime Services Client Experience Engineering Team within the Securities Technology team encompasses the following functions :

Client Technology Solutions Responsible for working directly with our clients to onboard new products and services, assist clients with data file and reporting issues, and advocate for the clients with respect to the products and services we build in our product engineering functions.

Site Reliability Engineering Responsible for maintaining and improving the availability of the platform, managing and supporting highly-

available and distributed systems. Building tools to automate repetititve work and increase insight into trouble spots. Improving client experience through predictable service delivery.

The Client Experience Strategy and Transformation team is responsible for building the service delivery framework, controls, process, quality assurance, governance and analytics to optimize Prime Services client experience.

This team also develops the strategy for service delivery tools, working with the stakeholders and engineering / development team(s) to define the requirements and oversee implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Technology Solutions Overisight of managed services team responsible for handling client onboarding, third party issue management, and automation of routine tasks.

Build center of excellence for on Prime Services Client On-boarding in Bengaluru. Analyze, optimize and migrate functions to CoE or eliminate through automation.

Site Reliability Engineering Develop the strategy, build the team and provide day to day oversight of the Site Reliability function for Prime Services Client Engineering.

Client Experience Strategy and Transformation - Work with Client Experience Engineering management to define, communicate and execute client experience transformation strategies, including building the service delivery framework, controls, process, quality assurance, governance and analytics to optimize Prime Services client experience.

In addition to oversight of the team and function, take hands on role in development and execution of service delivery strategy, including :

  • Oversight of user support controller function to ensure timely response and resolution of all client and user requests
  • Perform business analysis, defining user stories, requirements, evaluating and recommending solutions to support service delivery
  • Liaise between the Sales team, Product Development, and Engineers by successfully blending technical and business knowledge skills
  • Seek out work and be pro-active in every aspect of this role
  • Bring an eagerness to be familiar with Goldman Sachs’ client base and seek out opportunities to better serve those clients
  • MANDATORY

  • Minumum of 10 years of relevant professional experience using a modern programming language (preferably Java / Scala
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years leading a client-facing team in a large organization
  • Experience with Agile operating models
  • Team oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Energetic, self-directed and self-motivated
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with the Financial Services Industry particularly within Prime Brokerage and Futures / OTC Clearing businesses
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
