The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world.
Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.
The candidate will work within PowerMax Performance Engineering to support development of new platforms, features, and algorithms.
Regular activities will involve the design and execution of experiments driven from Linux and UNIX hosts to characterize storage array performance throughout the development cycle.
Beyond data production the candidate will be responsible for detailed analysis of results and communication of their findings to a variety of internal customers including firmware developers and engineering leadership.
Responsibilities will also include generation of limited-scope whitepapers for use as field reference. This position requires exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze complex datasets.
2 years industry experience or equivalent
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, computer or electrical engineering or related engineering major
