PRODUCT MANAGER ROUTING PLATFORM

What You'll Do

In this global role, you will be responsible for Cisco’s industry-leading routing platforms. You will be involved in many aspects of product management such as Product Life Cycle Management, Managing the business, Driving efficiency, Customer escalations, Portfolio / PID management, Release management, Forecasting, Pricing, Margin improvement, etc.

You will also develop the right collateral to evangelize product offerings and represent the Routing Business Unit at regional events, both internal and external to Cisco.

You get to contribute to many products across the routing portfolio.

Who You'll Work With

Our team manages the Enterprise Routing portfolio and business of Cisco. We are overseeing a dynamic business, transformed by software-

defined control and the use of analytics for efficient operations. We take pride in driving outcomes by leveraging our customer knowledge, business savviness and a deep passion in networking technologies.

You will be working closely with other Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, Technical Marketing Engineers, Finance, Sales and closely interact with Cisco's customers to identify their product requirements and needs

What You Bring

We are looking for a Product Manager with great business and technical skills. Successful applicants will have experience building business cases, leading diverse / cross-

functional teams, have positive can do attitude, have a strong work ethic, and be able to adapt and iterate quickly.

  • BE / ME or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred
  • 5+ years’ work experience in product management / marketing preferably in areas such as enterprise networking, security, etc.
  • Good understanding of product offerings, customers and competitive landscape.
  • Good leadership skills and the ability to successfully operate in a cross-functional, globally distributed team driving tangible revenue / margin growth.
  • Dedicated to customer success and have a bias for action.
  • Demonstrated ability to create highly compelling business cases
  • Effective spokesperson skills engaging both small and large groups
  • Ability to quickly learn and establish trusted relationship with new teams
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data quickly
  • This position is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India
