Business / Department Objectives :

  • The key requirement for the role is to plan, co-own, deliver, and be responsible to work with select regional-wide external and internal communications framework to support Bangalore CSC as required by CSC Site Standards, BU India Site Leadership and business strategy.
  • The individual will possess high interpersonal skills to work with local / global seniors and further display a proactive learning attitude

    Core Responsibilities :

    Internal Communications & Branding :

  • Formulate and implement the Internal Communications strategy
  • Manage branding for the Business Unit (BU)
  • Follow the Communications protocol as defined by the central teams
  • Conduct regular surveys as required
  • Broadcasting of information through various modes of communication
  • Lead the GCD activities for the center
  • Drive relevant strategy for BU India and message development, pitch and announcement strategies, and execute programs to deliver / meet awareness objectives, delivery of corporate culture throughout the organization
  • Develop, delivery and packaging plans for corporate messages
  • Develop internal publications such as newsletters, releases, email announcements, planned publications, on-line, intranet, video, special projects and assignments
  • Support leadership initiatives through focus groups, surveys, town halls, one-on-one interviews, and other methodology;
  • evaluates and applies the data to support decisions

  • Develops creative design to increase employee engagement and to sustain the employee culture
  • Ensure all communication reaches multi-site multi-generations, diverse employees, and various levels of education
  • Knowledge Management :

  • Own & manage the Knowledge Management portal content authoring and publishing for Citi BU function built on SharePoint 2010 and JIVE platforms by sourcing current and relevant content for the portal from internal and external sources and managing site permissions, user groups and site structure as per company’s taxonomy.
  • Initiating and developing a KM portal for the analytics community as a best in class knowledge hub

  • Source platform & processes, design solutions and scalable proof of concepts and embed KM thinking in the workflow in mentorship with Senior Leaders
  • Link KM through the organization's operational business processes and system, strengthen connections between KM and IT as well as other core business processes
  • Champion the adoption of KM practices through change initiatives, especially to retain knowledge in the face of attrition
  • Promote collaborative tools to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and later on external partners e.

  • Develop Knowledge Management as a value proposition for the BU
  • Propose and implement a KM adoption success metrics
  • Work closely with KM SPOCS & communications workgroup ADL
  • Site Standards :

  • Owns the Site Standards Function for BU India (Bangalore & Chennai) and Bangalore CSC. Builds and sustains Bangalore CSC and BU India’s brand and reputation as well as all visual, written and oral communication.
  • Support the Senior Leadership team in preparing presentations & ensure it is updated with real time information at all times
  • Manage Bangalore CSC and BU India’s communications standards, awareness, adherence to prescribed standards by Site Governance teams
  • Own the Global CSC Site Standards for BU / Bangalore CSC. Own end to end & work with the SPOCS towards adhering to the CSC Site Standards & achieve the Maturity Level agreed upon with the Senior Leadership team for the site
  • Create and launch press releases and marketing campaigns
  • Work with various work groups to support on related engagements
  • Employee Engagement & CSR :

  • Own, build and sustain the External & Internal Engagement Function for BU India (Bangalore & Chennai) and Bangalore CSC
  • Develop long-term strategies and sponsor key initiatives across Diversity, Women’s forum and other employee networks, to promote and achieve a culture of service excellence and employee engagement as defined and governed by Global CSC Site Standards
  • Own the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for the site
  • Create and sustain budget, implementation and continuance of the Citi’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to ensure consistency and effectiveness globally, with mentorship from leaders
  • Ensure the CSR program is aligned with and supports the advancement of the global Citi community culture
  • Plan and promote events to engage employees and raise awareness of CSR programs
  • Oversees the overall production of internal communications, events and programs materials, including newsletters, e-blasts, SharePoint, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
  • for the purpose of communicating with potential and existing employees

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

  • Teamwork : Manage initiative across multisite. Establish a structured interaction model with the partners

  • Masters in Communication, Advertising, Marketing, business or similar discipline or MBA (preferred)
  • Experience :

  • 6 - 10 years of work experience

  • Proficient in creating templates, Presentations, web parts, social features, workflows and content management in configuring sites and sub sites

  • Experience in working in virtual / outsourced environment preferred
  • Exposure to analytics in financial services (Credit Cards, Retail Bank, Mortgage, Other Lending / Liability products)
