Database Administrator will be responsible to support, optimize all our environments consists of various versions of SQL server databases (2008, 2010, 2012, 2016 etc.
and take our database infrastructure to the next level. This position will closely work with IT applications and infrastructure teams to manage all operations of databases and provide ultra-
responsive support services to Rimini’s clients and internal business users.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Install, Upgrade, Administer, Monitor and Maintenance of all SQL server database instances. Design, develop and implement database backup, disaster recovery and HA (High-
Availability) solution strategies.Monitor database performance on mission & business critical applications Develop database processes Standard operations procedures (SOPs)Troubleshoot daily operations problems, and work with various teams to resolve the issues.
Ability to identify performance problem queries, tune SQL queries, databases to improve performance and understanding of how it interacts with applications functions.
Maintain documentation of the database environment and infrastructure.Work with system administrators, architects, development teams, and business application owners to ensure database changes are in-
line with operational standards and the strategies needed to scale.Develop, Maintain database roadmap for Rimini’s mission databases to keep platforms comply with security measures & procedures.
Provide a high quality customer support and services to Rimini’s clients, business users.Coordinate and schedule DB downtimes to perform DB maintenance procedures.
Lead, conduct status update and review meetings with business stakeholders consists of Users, Managers, DirectorsMentor, and lead team of system administratorsVirtual patching is a plus.
