Job Description

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.

Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Qualifications

The candidate requires a Masters in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Management Science or related discipline with a focus on deterministic optimization modeling and programming.

Additional qualifications include :

  • Solid Operations Research (OR) knowledge, especially Linear Programming (LP), Mixed Integer Programming (MIP), Constraints Programming (CP), etc.
  • Familiarity with commercial optimization / constraint programming tools such as ILOG CPLEX, Concert, Gurobi, etc.
  • Computer programming experience in C# and LP solvers.
  • Demonstrated work and familiarity with data base management systems, such as SQL Server, etc.
  • Good understanding on supply chain management / operations management, especially production planning and execution is a plus.
