Credit Suisse Trust (CS Trust) forms part of the International Wealth Management division and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Credit Suisse Group.
CS Trust is responsible for structuring solutions that address the needs of Bank's wealth management clients. We focus on offering a broad range of highly tailor-
made trust, foundation and insurance solutions to meet the very specific wealth planning needs of our sophisticated private banking clientele.
The Regulatory Management team within CS Trust is responsible for monitoring, conducting impact assessments, managing regulatory projects and keeping the business teams one step ahead in meeting the regulatory requirements that impact the firm.
The team thus facilitates the business in enabling informed changes in their offering. This unique proposition distinguishes us from other industry players.
To this end, Credit Suisse Trust has set up a small team of legal experts in the BDC in Mumbai.
Proactive screening of wealth planning related regulatory, legal and tax environments through a cross-border approach;
Cutting through complexity to provide clear, precise and insightful results on the changes in wealth planning and taxation laws;
Collaborating with the Regulatory Management team in CS Trust Zurich for the development and implementation of regulatory projects within the trust and the insurance offerings;
Development & maintenance of a global knowledge database by publishing periodic reports on various regulatory aspects;
Ad-hoc legal research and analysis of country-specific legislations.
Bachelor’s degree in Law, specialization in trust / insurance / corporate / tax laws preferred;
Minimum 2 years of experience in regulatory / corporate legal areas in multinational corporates, consulting firms or banks with international presence;
Exposure to international legislations, preferred exposure to global wealth management products and processes;
Strong orientation towards research, fact-finding, analysis and interpretation;
Strong writing and language skills in English;
Strong communication skills;
Experienced in working with MS Office - Word, Excel and PPT;
Good team player, with an ability to handle individual tasks effectively;
Willingness and ability to learn on the job.
