Software developer responsible for development of modules required for production testing of RF and baseband components, testing of PHY layer SW modules and tuning of customer-
specific RF components for scaling customers. The person is also responsible for interfacing with all cellular RAT PHY layers, RF drivers, and baseband and RF HW teams, to innovate and deliver interfaces which help rapid development, integration, bring-
up and debug of PHY layers. A major area of responsibility is to interact with customer production teams to understand customer-
specific components, their interface with our modem solution and their production environment, to deliver high quality RF and front end component production test and verification software.
Experience in embedded architecture, external interfaces, product constraints, along with ability to develop architectures / features that meet these constraints while providing new value for the platform.
Source code development, review and maintenance C / C++. Unit and system level test and verification TCL, System C, Modelsim SE Experience in lowlevel programming, system architecture, operating systems, device architecture, hardware design.
Experience in storage interface standards such as SATA, SAS, PCIe, and Fiber Channel. System level design and modeling manages design environment make, Perl, SVN, Bugzilla.
System integration using 8, 16, 32 bit microcontrollers.Algorithm modeling, benchmarking, implementation, and digital signal processing.
Bachelors / Master's / PhD in EE / EC / CS or similar streams from a recognized university. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in development of physical layer protocols of at least one of the cellular radio access technologies GSM / GPRS, UMTS, TDSCDMA, CDMA2000, LTE.
Knowledge of RF and Baseband production testing and / or factory calibration is desired. Knowledge of RF-baseband interfacing and RF driver development is a plus.
Expertise is needed in coding with C / C++, strong fundamentals in RTOS, multi-threaded and multi-processor concepts. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, must be self-
motivated, a team-player and have a proven development experience in customer-critical cellular modem modules. Ability to work well both independently and in a diverse team environment.
