Job Description 1.Procurement of RM like plates ,castings ,forgings , bars and pipes as per MTOs / QAPs for Project requirements
2.Procurement of standard and customized Bought out items : Electrical items like motors , control panels, wires and cables etc.
Paints / Hardwares / welding electrodes / rubber items / Hydraulic and pneumatic items for Project requirements
3.Establish Vendor Data base & Maintain effective Vendor relationship.
4.Giving feedback to estimation for cost estimation of Projects.
5.Tracking & effective follow up of procurement activities to get the items as per requirements and within specified time with appropriate documentation.
6.Knowledge of working on Computer Softwares such Windows, Office and conversant with working on BAAN., conversant with IMS requirements
7.Knowledge of commercial aspects of purchase like Govt. Taxation, Transportation, legal aspect etc.
8.Timely payment to vendors
9.Reduction of procurement lead time
10.Daily Work Management and co-ordination with internal user departments
