About Team : The Enterprise Technology & Operations (ETO) team partners with the business and other IT groups to define, manage, test, validate and deliver the strategic direction and operational performance of Enterprise Applications and Systems for Thermo Fisher Scientific.
About the role : This position is within our IT ETO ACS team supporting all the divisions and groups. We are looking for qualified candidate to lead our experienced team of Developers and System Engineers who closely partner with our Business leaders across IT functions to deliver system integration solutions.
The Manager, Systems Integration and IDAM IT position combines responsibilities for people leadership with enablement of IT solutions.
This hands-on Manager position is responsible for providing leadership to a group of developers and as a Technical Lead liaising between developers and Business IT teams.
Aligning project requirements and conducting impact analyses. Working closely with the business team, 3rd party vendors, and other internal IT teams to deliver projects on time.
Help improve the performance of the application and move it to the AWS public cloud in the coming months. Work with a team to do a complete performance audit of the application, identify areas of improvement, implement the changes, and maintain the application.
Responsibility also include queue management and ensure team meet the SLA metrics for IDAM and Systems Integrations.
Skills Required :
A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or equivalent, with 5+ years of prior WebLogic, Oracle SOA / BPEL and OSB. Willing to work 24x7 on-
call support. Ability to use logical and reasoning ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, and to determine how a system should work and how Change affects conditions, operations and the environments in which our customers operate.
Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement appropriate solutions.
