Position Responsibilities Requirements :

Main Area of work :

  • Responsible primarily for documented daily tasks involved in the administration of a DB or DC plan.
  • These tasks range from Trade Reconciliation, Creation of plans in Relius Administration, Processing conversions / takeovers plans via import routines of Beginning balances, Loan balances, Census import, Contribution calculations, Compliance testing, Government forms etc.
  • Distributions, Investment elections, transfers and other processes within a daily environment may be assigned. Year End Annual administration, Compliance testing and Government forms processing will be the major responsibility.
  • Ability to work with internal FIS departments on application or hardware issues related to daily functions is required.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process assigned tasks for retirement plan administration on Relius Administration and Government Forms.
  • Typical processing could include any of the following : Takeovers, plan setup, compliance testing, Government forms or other necessary activity for defined Benefits and Defined Contribution Plans.
  • Typical systems utilized include FIS’ Relius Administration and Government Forms as well as could include workflow software, participant and sponsor facing websites and other business applications as necessary.
  • Consistently meet or exceed target goals for productivity and quality.
  • Communicate and follow-up with teams as appropriate.
  • Review, research and provide feedback on discrepancies for assigned processes.
  • Ability to learn complex ideas and processes.
  • Follow all related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Complete and remain committed to ongoing training and development.
  • Must abide by all security requirements.
  • Must abide by FIS policies including attendance, compliance, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related.
  • Minimum 3 years of directly related experience with FIS’ Relius Administration.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and articulation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must be dependable and flexible, with the willingness to stretch during business needs.
  • Additional Skills :

  • Previous experience processing financial transactions in Relius Admin.
  • Previous Quality Control experience can be an added advantage.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment and adapt to change is essential.
  • Willingness to learn and perform additional tasks.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong research and analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and Interpersonal Skills.
