As part of the leadership team, you will be responsible for building a world-class software development team to build scalable and reliable SaaS application.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage a technical team to design and implement highly reliable, scalable and extensible SaaS platform and applications.
Assess the current technology state, evaluate options and define the technology strategy for the future.
Coach, mentor and lead a diverse group of lean / agile software and validation engineers.
Work with product owners across the organization to understand market needs & vision; quickly translate that vision into demonstrable features / software.
Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse.
Plan and execute weekly / monthly releases by deploying the rightly skilled resources for the applications based on criticality and complexity
Create and report KPIs and statistics to measure the performance of team members.
Identify and mitigate risks
Develop and maintain knowledge articles and ensure that team follows on the day to day work
Analyze and identify pattern of issues and tasks, and find permanent solution by means of Service improvements and Automations
Experienced in managing a large team with diverse skills and background.
Proven experience in building and scaling engineering teams.
Strong prior experience in software development domain and principles, including design patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration, and deployment architecture.
Should have managed teams with senior level engineers and architects.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Quick learner with strong technical and analytical (problem solving) skills
