Job Description

Business Function DBS Group Research comprises of the Economics / Strategy, Equity and Credit research teams. Our Economics team consists of Economists covering currencies, interest rates, and economies of China / Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India, ASEAN, Eurozone and US.

Our Equity research has a network of analysts covering the Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Thailand and Korea stock markets.

One distinctive feature is our unrivalled access to a broad range of companies around region. In Asia, we employ in excess of 60 analysts covering more than 600 stocks.

Combining active bottom- up research with sectoral and macro / thematic analysis (in conjunction with Economics and Markets Research), the team has been able to consistently identify moneymaking investment and trading ideas that outperform the rest.

JobPurpose : To lead, drive and manage allaspects of the Agri, Food Products and MSME Value Chain Product Management andto develop and implement variety of innovative programs for cross-

sell andup- sell of products / services. This job also includes implementing and executingthe Product & portfolio management to achieve PSLtargets and maximize profitability.

Key Roles & Responsibilities : 1 Business development a. Key responsibility is to establishAgri / MSME value chain programs and onboard anchors as well as spokes incollaboration with IBG & GTS teams b.

Develop a product specific targetlist with IBG & GTS RMs and assist the sales teams in target prioritization c. Work with IBG 1, 2&3 >

S RMs to pitch value chain proposition to the anchors and establish theprograms d. Manage portfolio profitabilityachievement of Net Interest Margin.

e. Identify new industry segmentsand markets where bank may enter 2. Product Development Define the serviceproposition for each product domain benchmarked against best in class offering : a.

Formulate product, policy & processes for sales, credit &collection. b. Upgrade the existing products of the banks as per PSL market requirement c.

Design and develop new product offerings based on market intelligenceand roll out the same with detailed product notes & framework includingpricing guidelines.

d. Design and get necessary approvals for delivery structure & revenuesharing model of the product across various business segments 3.

Portfolio Management a. Create MIS templates and monitoring mechanism. Ensure effective internalcontrol systems are implemented to minimize credit, regulatory and otheroperational losses.

b. Monitoring of product portfolio and controlling overdues c. Publish relevant MIS and share analysis with relevant internal stakeholders / management.

d. I nteract with cross functional departments like Credit, Policy, Operations for smooth flow of business e. Ensure correct classifications & NIL disqualification of PSL assets.

f. Manage end to end turnaroundtime to facilitate superior customer experience and innovate process change tofacilitate the same.

4. Regulatory Compliance a. Responsible for product advisory & structuring solutions includingadvising the IBG Teams on the permissibility and other aspects of transactionsas per Regulatory guideline b.

Comply with all external (including regulatory) & internal reportingrequirements for the portfolio c. Managing statutory & concurrent auditors for the inorganic portfolio of the bank 5.

Automation and SystemEnhancement Identifyand Implement the best available and appropriate technology for all theproducts / channels.

a. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for development andimplementation of online value chain finance system for Bank b.

Co- ordinate with inhouse IT team and external IT vendors in explaining anddeveloping the product functionalities required in system.

c. Closely track the developments and follow up with the Vendor for thetimely delivery of the functionalities d. Successfully launch the differentiated system in stipulated time 6.

Empanelment of Third Partyservice providers Work with the internal stakeholders and servicepartners in creating the enabling framework for delivery i.

e. IT support, customer on boarding and other business processes. a. Shortlist service providers, negotiatecosting and finalize the responsibilities and deliverables b.

Empanel service providers forproviding PAN India services for value chain finance products 7. TReDS a. Liaise with GTS trade productteam for participation of Bank on TReDS system b.

Identify target anchors andget preapproved limits set up for the same 8. Legal and Credit Documentation - Closelywork with Legal and credit department for making all the legal and creditdocuments (MOUs with Anchors, memo formats, standardized term sheets, field auditreport formats, pre / post sanction legal documents with dealers, vendors, recommendation letter etc.

9. Improving PSL productknowledge - Undertake training on process, product, system, policies andregulations, where required.

Experience / Education : a. Should be CA / MBA b. 12 to 15 years of bankingexperience, with experience in PSL Value Chain c.

Sound knowledge & Workexperience in PSL & Value chain with strong aptitude towards sales andstructuring transaction d. Knowledge of local PSL needs of customers, requirements and expectationsand trends / drivers in the market place.

e. High level of thinking and execution capabilities ability toconceptualise and implement new ideas on the ground f. Product knowledge andunderstanding of features, capabilities, legal compliance and tax issues g.

Strong communication and persuasive skills - communicate effectively(verbally and in writing / presentation) and influence stakeholders at alllevels within the organisation h.

Teamwork high level of ability to work well with business and supportunits to achieve full co- operation and synergies. i.

Commercial orientation ability to identify business / revenue opportunity, plan and focus on achievingbudgeted targets in an organized and structured manner.
